What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember things between visits — a login, a preference, or an anonymous ID used for analytics. Similar technologies include localStorage and tracking pixels; this policy covers those too.

The site's own code sets no cookies — no social-media beacons and no cookie-based profiling of its own. It uses your browser's local storage for two small conveniences only: remembering that you dismissed an announcement bar or ad box for the visit, and a short timer that helps our contact form block spam. Neither identifies you or follows you anywhere.

Your browser preferences that affect this site — like reduced-motion or dark-mode settings — live entirely on your device and are read by your browser, not stored by us.

Google services we may run

To understand which pages help visitors most, and to help fund the free guides on this site, we may enable the following Google services. When active, they set their own cookies under Google's cookie policy:

• Google Analytics / Tag Manager — first-party cookies (names typically beginning _ga) that assign your browser an anonymous ID; we use the reports only as aggregate statistics, never to identify you personally
• Google AdSense — advertising cookies Google uses to show and measure ads; you can control ad personalization at Google Ad Settings
• You can opt out of Analytics any time with Google's own browser opt-out add-on, and block any of these cookies for this site in your browser settings
• Where the law where you live requires consent for these cookies, we will show a consent mechanism before they run

Third-party services you choose to open

Booking happens directly with us — there is no third-party booking widget embedded on this site. Card payments are handled on Stripe's own secure checkout pages, which set Stripe's cookies under Stripe's privacy policy — not on this site. Some buttons do take you to other companies' services, which set their own cookies on their own sites under their own policies. None of them set cookies just because you visited a page here — only if you click through:

• WhatsApp buttons and the contact form open WhatsApp (WhatsApp's cookie policy)
• Review links open Google Maps (Google's cookie policy)

Managing cookies

Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies — look under Settings → Privacy in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge, on desktop and mobile alike. Because this site works without cookies, blocking them all here loses you nothing.

Changes to this policy

If our cookie use ever changes — for example, if analytics is enabled — we will update this page and its "Last updated" date before the change takes effect.
