Our commitment

1st Class Driving School (Apka Desi) aims for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Accessibility is part of how the site is built, not an afterthought — and because our whole business is teaching people who are often nervous, new to the country, or learning in a second language, meeting people where they are is what we do all day.

What this site does for accessibility

• Works with keyboards and screen readers — semantic HTML headings and landmarks, labeled form fields, descriptive link text, and visible focus outlines on every interactive element
• Respects reduced motion — if your device is set to "reduce motion," animations and moving elements switch off automatically
• Readable by design — high color contrast, large type, and text that can be zoomed to 200% without breaking the layout
• Works on any device — the layout adapts from small phones to large screens, and every feature works with touch alone
• No traps or timers — nothing on the site auto-plays with sound, flashes, or times you out
• Light and fast — pages are small static files that load quickly on slow connections and older devices

Accessibility of our lessons

The website is only the front door. If a website form or button is a barrier for you, everything can be done by phone — call (215) 740-2841 and we'll handle booking, questions, and scheduling in conversation, in English, Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, or Arabic. Tell us about any disability or learning need when you book, and we'll plan lessons at your pace; our instructors are chosen for patience above all.

Known limitations

• Some third-party services we link to — WhatsApp and Google Maps — are outside our control, and their accessibility is up to those providers. Phone remains a full alternative for everything they do.
• Parts of the site are offered in Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, and Arabic, but the majority of pages are in English.
